Brandon & Brittany – Clearwater Farm

Just when you think the craziness that was Covid weddings was over, along comes Brandon and Brittany’s wedding! Their wedding venue cancelled on them last minute and of course as anyone getting married can imagine, that threw them into a chaotic spin, just weeks before their scheduled June wedding. But of course when you have a bride and groom destined to get married and an even more determined mother of the bride, not about to let her baby girl’s wedding fall apart, you end up with a beautiful venue called Clearwater Farm, ready to step in and take over. On a gorgeous, hot, joyous June day, as scheduled, Brittany and Brandon said “I Do”, in front of friends and family, who by the way, couldn’t wait to get to the bar and play some Jenga! Game on!

Brandon & Sierra – Kingdom Christian Church

Brandon & Sierra were married last week at the Kingdom Christian Church in Brampton. Sounds like a typical wedding day…but nothing typical about these two. Brandon & Sierra met in their teens/early adulthood through online dating. Their first date seemed to be going awesome and then Brandon, for whatever reason, decided he could possibly make a bigger impression on Sierra by licking her face. And so he did just that. Maybe for any other girl a slap to the face would ensue. But for Sierra who seems just as fun and carefree as Brandon, to her it signified a potential long term match.

And long term it was. After close to 7 years of dating, Brandon finally popped the question. The road wouldn’t be easy, as Brandon proudly serves our military and only gets leave a couple of months a year to see Sierra, his beloved. But when your love is that strong and your faith in God even stronger, mountains can be moved and love can conquer all.

Congratulations Brandon & Sierra.

Columbus Event Centre Wedding – Third Time’s A Charm

Columbus Event Centre

  1. Get engaged, pick a wedding date, plan wedding, send out invitations, book vendors for said wedding, book a hall – Columbus Event Centre, buy dresses, get excited.
  2. Covid. Reverse. Postpone wedding, call vendors hoping to reschedule, pick another date, call Columbus Event Centre to see if new date is available, shorten wedding attendee guest list drastically, humbly make calls to those family/friends who unfortunately have to be cut from the guest list.
  3. Covid again/still . Postpone wedding again, call vendors again, pick another date again, call wedding attendee guest list and cut some more players, buy different dresses because people change within 2 years. (ie flower girl grew!) Pray that the third time is a charm and wedding can actually go off without a hitch.

It does.

In the first week of October, Ian and Sally FINALLY said their “I Do’s”. Surrounded by their family and friends, outside in fantastic fall weather, Ian and Sally may not have had the wedding they had originally planned but regardless they had a wedding of fun, laughter, happiness and love. I can now say congratulations to the happy couple! It’s been a long time coming!
