T25, Custard tarts and Kijiji | Brenda Maternity

Brenda and I chatted back and forth over a few emails, and before I knew it the date was set. I would bring my gear (and yes, it’s a lot of gear) to her place and I would photograph her, her first born, and her baby pump. Little did I know, what would start out as one session, turned into a few sessions. Even more importantly then that, what started out as a maternity photography session has quickly bloomed into a friendship. Brenda and I have bonded over Focus T25, the art of buying and selling on Kijiji, Portugese Custard Tarts (and lots of them!), Victoria’s Secret (and yes, I think we’ve discovered the secret!!). So in posting these images, I hope that I have done Brenda justice. She’s a gorgeous woman on the outside, and a beautiful sole on the inside. Friday the 13th…

Well, I asked a girlfriend to lunch today and she said “no”. She’s not leaving the house because it’s Friday the 13th. Ok, to each there own. She’s super superstitious. (Try saying that 10x fast, or even just 1x fast!) Well, I went out and about and saw the world on Friday June 13th and to be quite honest…nothing different, unless you equate this date with one Party winning a majority vote. I’m not one to talk politics but really that one isn’t the best news for Ontarians if you ask my opinion. Well, having said my piece I did vote so I guess that entitles me to an opinion.

Tomorrow I am photographing Baby Albert who blessed the world with his presence last week. For now, because every blog post needs a photo, I will leave you with a photo of his Momma! She’s gorgeous and I can’t wait to meet Baby Albert.

Baby L – A cutie!!

You may recognize Mary & Mike who have appeared on the blog here and here. Although they have appeared here more then once (and so has Didi for that matter), Baby L. is making his first appearance. Hopefully this is his first of many appearances here as it is fun to watch family’s bloom and grow!

Meet Baby L. He is so cute! I wanted to take him home, but Didi wouldn’t let me. Here’s just a quick sneak peak for mom, dad and grandparents.

Told you he is a cutie!!

I’m telling you, Didi was giving me the evil eye the whole time I was there. I think it may be because she thought as per usual that I was there to take her photo…

And in keeping with tradition, yes Didi, it still is all about you (Just don’t tell Baby L.)
