Danny & Hayley – Palais Royale Wedding

Gnomes, Monsoon-like-weather (at an outdoor wedding no less!) & bird droppings.. OH MY!

Gnomes engagement ring

What do the above have in common?  Well they all made an appearance at Hayley and Danny’s wedding! But none of it put a damper on anyone’s spirits!  I can’t tell you how important it is to roll with the punches on your wedding date.   Everyone was so worried to tell Hayley it was raining buckets on her wedding day, but when Hayley found out, she didn’t even flinch.  Palais Royale staff had it under control, and whether the wedding was going to be outdoors or moved indoors, nothing was going to dampen the mood that this couple or their guests were in!  That my friends, is how you do it! Thankfully by the time the ceremony time came around, the torrential downpour had stoppped and the sun appeared!  So the show went on, and on a beautiful Sunday, Hayley and Danny tied the knot in front of family & friends.  Chest-bumping and all! 😉

Totally love Jody’s face in this next one! Not sure what the conversation was, maybe hair in the 80’s, but whatever it was Jody was absolutely shocked and disgusted!

I ventured outside just in time for the guys arrival!

I told the guys it was their time to do anything they wanted to behind Danny’s back…somehow without turning around, Danny knew exactly what they were doing and gave it right back to them!

Look at this little cutie! (Hayley’s niece):

Back to the bridal suite for Dress time! One of my favourite parts of the day!

Once the dress was on, it was party time!

Gotta love how Hayley downed this shot!

RAINNNNNNN! Right before the ceremony.  Bothering Danny? You tell me…

And right on cue, the rain stopped and the ceremony began:

Hayley and Danny, had a blast at your wedding, thank you for letting me be a part of it!

Naila & Adam – Chinguacousy Park Engagement Photography

Wedding Ring photo

Well, another engagement session that had to be “called” on account of rain! Seems to be the trend this year.   We finally managed to get it in though and travelled to Chinguacousy Park where Naila and Adam will also have their wedding photos taken.  Except when their wedding comes around it will probably look a tad different.  Their wedding is in February, and if it goes as planned it will be nice out with snow on the ground, and maybe, just maybe it will gently snow for a few minutes! 🙂 I love a gentle snow for pictures! But I digress, it is still only June and I don’t even want to think about snow yet.  So where ever you are, enjoy the weather, the heat, the sun and have a safe, blessed summer!

Meet Beautiful and oh-so nice Naila:

Together they are Naila & Adam, Adam & Naila, soon to be married, but for now just enjoying the engaged life!

When the groom-to-be pulls out a hat like this, you know it’s going to be a cool session!

Naila & Adam, Thank you so much for a fun time and for introducing me to a park I had not been to before! I am looking forward to photographing your wedding day!

Kate & Glenn – The Old Mill Toronto Wedding Photography

Post it note love photo

The Old Mill Wedding Photography

Kate & Glenn, no two people more meant for each other, to spend an eternity by each other’s side.  Glenn & Kate are a true example of the reason why I do what I do.  I love people in love.  I love people who love to show that they’re in love.  Not in that Yucky, all over each other, where you want to turn away and expel on someone’s shoes, but in the way that you can’t take your eyes off of them because they are what true love is about .  He is caring and giving towards her and she is loving and good to him.  Although these two have a lot on their plate and they are embarking on a big journey over the next little while, I have no doubt that they will have wonderful stories to tell, filled with love, emotion and laughter.  Kate & Glenn I wish you all the best, and thank goodness your photographer couldn’t photograph your wedding, because I feel blessed to have met you and your wonderful friend and families who made me feel right at home.

(Those aren’t real edible cakes.  They are made of fabric and Kate hand made them!! When I saw it I thought “how the heck are they going to get the wedding cake down from there!!!” But it’s not real!)

Now the guys…

It was time for the ceremony.  The ceremony took place at St. Andrew’s Church in Etobicoke…

The couple had their reception in the church as well, surrounded by family and friend’s

Kate & Glenn had a big send off via bubbles and a beautiful convertible car!

After the ceremony we headed to The Old Mill for some bridal party photos…

Love this next photo! We were going for a “godfather” kind of theme! I told them to pretend they were looking at ” the books”.

Whew!!  We made it! After we were done, it was time to tuck Glenn & Kate in, and wish them all the best in their new journey together.

Sweet Dreams…
